Did I just make myself a WordPress account?

I promised to deprive myself of tumblr-ing right after the declaration of 4Chan’s attack against Tumblr. Part of my abstinence comes from the 4Chan scare, and the half part is so I could cut down my internet connection usage to pave way for schoolworks.

It finally occurred to me that I need a place where to blurt everything in my head without sacrificing hack attacks, hence, the WordPress account.

Blogspot we met again.

Finance or Marketing? :S

So kanina lumabas 'yung results ng qualifying exams. Akala ko masaya kung ipapasa ko lahat, kasi syempre sino bang matutuwa kapag hindi?

Flashback.

Actually matagal ko nang ginive-up ang Finance nung nalaman ko 'yung Final grade ko ngayong sem. Humingi kasi ako ng sign kay Lord na kapag naka-1.75 ako, go na ako sa Finance. Pero nung nalaman kong 2.00 lang ang nakuha ko, naging firm 'yung decision ko sa Marketing.

Hanggang sa nag-qualifying exams na nga. Hindi talaga ako nag-aral sa Finance. As in konting basa, wala. Tapos sobrang kinarir ko naman 'yung Marketing. As in cover to cover binasa ko kahit sasabog na utak ko. Naisip ko kasi, magMamarketing na nga lang ako, sana man lang first section ako kapag third year na.

Sobrang sabaw talaga 'yung test ko sa Finance. As in potangena shotgun, naaalala ko yung mga lessons pero nakalimutan ko na lahat yung formula. Kasalanan ko din naman kasi di ako nagbuklat ni isang libro, at isa pa nasa utak ko magMamarketing na talaga ako.

Pero di pa rin ako mapakali. Syempre kinausap ko ulit si Lord. Sabi ko sa kanya,

"Lord, alam niyo naman kung anong nangyari sakin sa qualifying exams ng Finance. Kung mapapasa ko 'to talagang himala na lang. Pero gusto ko sana siyang ipasa, kahit na magMamarketing ako.. masabi lang na pumasa sa Finance."

'Yan lang nasa isip ko nun. Hanggang sa mali pala ang pagkakasabi ko kay Lord. Actually naisip ko, o syet BV sana di ko na lang pinasa lahat para wala na akong choice. Para Marketing na lang, tapos!

So eto na ang dilemma ko ngayon. Confirmation na ng slots this coming Friday. Sabaw pa rin utak ko at torn between Marketing and Finance.

Finance

• Pinakatinitingalang major sa UST Commerce
• Puro Math of Investment
• Puro Accounting
• Stock brokers?
• Pero maraming job opportunities
• Mas broader ang scope sa Marketing
• More like office work.

Marketing

• Sobrang daming section sa commerce
• Tapunan DAW ng mga hindi pumasa sa ibang majors
• Petiks daw?
• Walang thesis, feasibility study lang
• Wala gaanong set na mataas na standard di katulad ng Finance
• Advertising? Promotion?
• TAGABENTA.
• More like fieldwork.

Parang PRESTIGE & WITH MONEY (Finance) vs. WHAT I THINK IS EASY & WITH MONEY KUNG MAY SIPAG AT TYAGA (Marketing).

The person I've known for over 15 years is the same person I'm with for almost 4 years.

Clutch down. Shift to gear two. Gas. Release clutch. Slow down. Slow down! Toink. Toink. Toink. -- Storya ng buhay ko kanina. Sakit sa bangs.

Today was my first actual driving experience from A-1 Driving School. So I drove all the way from SM Tunasan, to San Pedro, nearly reached our home, went down United SP, back to Tunasan, to Muntinlupa, then back again to SM — all for 2 hours.

SAKIT SA BANGS.

Countless times akong namamatayan ng makina, and the worst part was when traffic na sa may United sa may San Pedro, daming nag-bebeep beep! Nakakataranta kasi di ko makuha 'yung timpla ng clutch at brake. Nagalit pa yata si Manong Traffic Enforcer.

I nearly died. But anyway I'm halfway learning it. No. Actually I learned somehow so I'm proud of myself. ;)

I have two more actual sessions to go and I can't wait! Well at least na-overcome ko ang fear ko of driving. Random Fact: I always dream of myself driving crazy, uncontrollably, leading to road accidents.

Note to self: Stay calm. Relax. Concentrate. Smile.

I've been thinking about my lost iPod Touch lately and even thought of buying a new one in exchange of Andy. I must get over this, srsly, and make up with my camera. Anywise it's summer. It's time to do something productive.

Global Scholarship

One thing I like about multinational companies is that they give good benefits to employees. My mother works at one and for two years now, I am lucky to be chosen as one of the scholarship recipients of HB Fuller Company.

For two consecutive years now, I receive dollar awards from mom's company. I guess it was pure luck - for the company chooses among several applicants who were sons/daughters of HB Fuller employees globally. And to that, I'm very grateful that I was chosen among those varied nationalities who also applied for the grant.

This year, my sister (since she will be entering college this June) was able to join as well. So my mother have two representatives now. Well, let's just see if HB F. would let us have both scholarship grants? But after all, my sister had good grades and mine were fluctuating since second year 2nd sem started.

Anyways, whatever the outcome is, I would just hope for what's best. Besides, I'm a scholar for 6 consecutive years now. For a change? XD
